  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a gentle, evidence-based therapy that helps your brain naturally process and release the impact of painful or overwhelming experiences. Through guided bilateral stimulation, EMDR supports the brain’s innate ability to heal, allowing distressing memories, beliefs, and emotions to be reprocessed in a safe and structured way. Many people find that EMDR helps reduce anxiety, trauma symptoms, and limiting patterns, while creating space for greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. I am an EMDRIA-approved therapist in training, receiving consultation, and I integrate EMDR within a trauma-informed, holistic approach to counseling.

  • Holistic talk therapy looks at the whole person—mind, body, emotions, and life experiences—rather than focusing on symptoms alone. In a supportive and compassionate space, we gently explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that shape how you move through the world. Through thoughtful conversation and reflection, we work together to understand the deeper roots of anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, and life transitions.

    Using a holistic lens, therapy may incorporate approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), parts work, and inner child healing to help you understand the different parts of yourself that developed over time to protect, cope, or adapt. These parts often hold important stories, emotions, and needs that deserve attention and care. By building a relationship with these inner parts, you can begin to heal old wounds, release patterns that no longer serve you, and cultivate greater self-compassion.

    Together, we also pay attention to the mind–body connection, emotional awareness, and the intuitive wisdom that often gets buried under stress or past experiences. The goal is not simply to “fix” problems, but to help you reconnect with your authentic self, strengthen your inner resources, and move toward greater balance, clarity, and overall well-being. Holistic therapy supports the process of coming home to yourself, integrating the many parts of who you are so you can live with more freedom, presence, and self-trust.
